Ed Lee: From Rhody to the Patriots

URI alum Ed Lee signed an undrafted free agent contract with the New England Patriots this spring.

The wide receiver is working to make the team during mini-camp, which began Monday.

Lee grew up rooting for the Patriots despite growing up in Washington DC and his dad playing for the Lions.

He played his college football just over an hour away in Kingston, RI, helping him get acclimated to the area.
