Fall River man to be sentenced in 2020 killing

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A man convicted for the 2020 killing of a Fall River man will be sentenced today.

Yesterday, 27-year-old Rayquan Robinson was convicted of second-degree murder and armed assault with intent to murder.

On May 6 of 2020, Fall River Police responded to 911 calls regarding a shooting in the area of Mott and Warren Street.

Upon arrival at the scene, first responders found Williams where he would later be pronounced deceased at the hospital.

Robinson would later be found and arrested.

For a second-degree murder charge, Robinson could face a minimum of 10 years in prison.
