Gillette Stadium set for Tom Brady’s Patriots Hall of Fame induction
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — It’s Tom Brady Day in Foxborough.
The day has been anticipated since week one of last year when Brady made his return to Gillette Stadium for the first time since his retirement.
Now, on June 12 (6/12) — for six Super Bowls won in New England by #12, Brady will be inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame.
Brady’s number was on the jumbotron ahead of the ceremony, under the banners he raised as the quarterback in New England for 20 years.
It’s the first time the Patriots have held a team Hall of Fame induction ceremony in the stadium, pulling out all the stops for the greatest of all time.
Hundreds of Brady’s family, friends, teammates, and some of the current players are expected to be in attendance, including the other two pillars of the Patriots dynasty: Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick.
Drake Maye, the Patriots quarterback of the future, will also be in attendance.
“The biggest thing with Tom is the way he’s wired,” Maye previously said. “When he won his fifth or sixth Super Bowl ring, I think he said his favorite one was the next one.”
“To celebrate him on his day is pretty cool,” Maye added. “Excited to witness it.”
Being the quarterback of the New England Patriots, from here until the end of time, will mean walking in the footsteps of TB-12
