Hendricken Alum King Called Up to Yankees

Bishop Hendricken Alum Michael King has been promoted to the New York Yankees.

The Yankees made the announcement Thursday.

King, who grew up in Warwick, had a 4.81 ERA in Triple-A Scranton Wilkes Barre this season. 

He’ll make his MLB debut whenever Aaron Boone calls him out of the bullpen.
