Jacob Toppin Becomes Latest To Transfer Out of URI
An offseason filled with movement continuing Monday for the URI men’s basketball program. After one season, Jacob Toppin announcing on Instagram his intentions to enter the NCAA transfer portal.
Toppin, the younger brother of National Player of the Year Obi Toppin of Dayton, averaged 5.1 points and 3.9 rebounds per game during his freshman season coming off the bench for the Rams.
Rhode Island now has two open scholarships left to fill for next season.
