Kino Lilly Jr Helps Brown Beat Penn, Sweep Weekend
The Brown men’s basketball team (12-10, 4-5) completed a home weekend sweep with a wire-to-wire 82-72 win over Penn (6-16, 2-7) inside the Pizzitola Sports Center on Saturday night.
“I thought it was a terrific win against a team that’s playing really well,” Head Men’s Basketball Coaching Chair Mike Martin ’04 said. “Their physicality, their effort level, their compete level, Penn’s a terrific team the way they’re playing and we earned that win tonight. It wasn’t easy, they challenged us at both ends of the court with their physicality and their execution.”
