Kiss Named Lou Henson National Player of the Week

BOSTON, Mass. — Bryant University men’s basketball guard Peter Kiss was named the CollegeInsider.com Lou Henson National Player of the Week on Monday afternoon.

Kiss earns the award after averaging 29.5 points per game, 7.0 rebounds per game and 2.5 assists per game in two Bryant victories. He scored 29 on Thursday vs Merrimack in one of his most efficient nights of the year. Kiss was 7-of-12 from the field and 13-of-16 from the line. On Sunday, Kiss scored 30 points, going 11-of-14 from the charity stripe. In all, Kiss was 24-of-30 from the line in two games.

On the year, Kiss ranks third nationally with 22.8 ppg. He has scored 20+ points 10 times, 30+ points four times and has scored 25+ points in seven of his last eight games. In those eight games, Kiss is averaging 27.5 ppg.
