La Salle’s Marshall Vernon Takes Gold in Boys’ Cross Country, Bishop Hendricken Wins Fourth Straight Team Championship
La Salle junior Marshall Vernon won the individual gold at the Rhode Island Interscholastic League’s state cross country meet Saturday.
He finished the 5k course in 15:00:75, seconds away from a state record.
Bishop Hendricken took the team award for the fourth straight year.
