Man, 40, accused of breaking into 3 Providence convenience stores

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence police said Thursday that they arrested a man accused of breaking into three Providence convenience stores.
Somsack Sithong, 40, is charged with three counts of breaking and entering.
Police said Sithong allegedly robbed Eastside Mart at the corner of Lloyd and Elmgrove avenues on June 22.
Surveillance video obtained by ABC 6 News last month showed a person filling an empty pillowcase with 50 to 100 packs of cigarettes.
Police said they believe Sithony also broke into Lasalle Corner Store on Smith Street and Douglas Food Mart on Douglas Avenue.
Police said the robberies happened in under two weeks from each other, and a rock was thrown through the window of all three stores.
