BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Public Health said the fourth human case of West Nile Virus in the state this year has been discovered.
The DPH said the individual with the virus is a male in his 60s who was exposed in Norfolk County.

Health officials said many people infected with West Nile virus show no symptoms, but could experience fever, headache, body aches, nausea, vomiting, and sometimes swollen lymph glands or a rash.
Human cases of the West Nile Virus have also been found in Connecticut.
Cases of eastern equine encephalitis have been detected in each state.
