MLB Looking At Host Sites for “Taxi Squads”, McCoy Stadium May Be An Option

With the minor league baseball season in jeopardy, major league teams are preparing to have “taxi squads”, or a group of players who will stay prepared to be called up to the major leagues if a roster replacement is needed.

If MLB games are played in host cities, McCoy Stadium is an option to host the Boston Red Sox’ taxi squad because of its close location to Fenway Park.
