New Bedford teen stars in ‘Law and Order’
NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — Fans of the “Law and Order” franchise may recognize a local star on the small screen
“You do so many auditions and hearing back is rare,” Logan Souza said.
17-year-old Souza said he was marking milestones in his acting career.
“Getting to watch myself do that gave me more confidence to be like yeah I did that,” he said. “It feels really good.”
Souza starred in the hit series as a homeless boy named Joey Richards.
ABC 6 first caught up with Souza nearly two years ago when his acting career took off in “And Just Like That,” the sequel to the hit show “Sex in the City,” where he played Wyatt, Aidan Shaw’s son.
“He’s a very different character than Wyatt,” he said. “Getting to play a new character was really fun, getting to differentiate the characteristics of Wyatt to Joey. There are so many differences that I got to explore that I never got to explore before.”
Souza’s acting career continues as he is set to return on season 3 of “And Just Like That” and is working on his own horror film.
“Now that I am in it, I want to take advantage of it,” Souza added. “This is what I am doing and I have gotten this far. I can’t let it slip. I have the world in my hands.”
