New video shows moment crews located missing Easton teens

EASTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police shared a video Friday, showing the moment that crews found a pair of missing teens in Easton.

Easton police were called about two 16-year-olds who were lost and endangered near Hockomock Swamp off of Turnpike Street at about 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

State police said that more than 30 first responders set up a command post at Southeastern Regional School where the search started.

An air wing from state police used heat signatures to point the crews in the right direction just before 6 p.m. The search parties used chainsaws to cut through areas of the woods to get towards the teens’ location.

Those crews got to the teens at around 7 p.m. They were both dehydrated after being missing for nearly six hours.
