Noriega Drives In Six Runs To Lead Bryant Baseball Past Merrimack

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Gavin Noriega drove in six runs to pace the Bryant baseball team to a 13-1 mercy-rule victory over Merrimack on Tuesday afternoon at Conaty Park.

The Bulldogs improve to 4-5-1 overall and will head to Dayton, Ohio, for a three-game series with the Flyers starting on Friday.

Noriega drove in runs in each of his first three at-bats, hitting a three-run shot in the first, a two-run double in the second and an RBI ground out in the third. He finished 2-for-4 with six RBI and a run scored. Brandyn Durand added two hits and three RBI.

Five Bryant pitchers combined to limit the Warriors to just two hits.
