One hospitalized after stabbing in Providence G parking garage

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE): A 27-year-old male is hospitalized after a stabbing in the Providence G parking garage after 2 a.m. on Sunday morning. 

The Board of Licenses held an emergency meeting and closed down The Rooftop at the Providence G on an emergency basis pending a hearing Wednesday.

There was an altercation on the Rooftop at some point in the night, according to security. The two men had a confrontation in the garage and one of the males was stabbed. 

The victim is at Rhode Island Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
