Patriots Travel To Seattle for First Road Trip During COVID-19 Pandemic
The New England Patriots took off for Seattle Friday. It was the first trip the team has taken since the start of training camp, as the COVID-19 pandemic cancelled all preseason trips.
The NFL instituted new rules for road trips for all teams during the 2020 season. As a part of the restrictions, members of the team can’t leave the team hotel until game time Sunday.
Patriots captain Devin McCourty is usually a go-to person for young players to look to when they prepare for a trip. Even he is left without advice for this one, because this situation is unprecedented.
