PC Men’s Soccer Beats BC For First Win of Year

The Providence College men’s soccer team defeated the Boston College Eagles, 2-0, in a BIG EAST / ACC matchup on Aug. 29 on Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium. The Friars improved to 1-2-0 to start the season. Seniors Cameron Yriondo (Sammamish, Wash.) scored his first goal of the season and Caden Stafford (Cincinnatus, N.Y.) added a late insurance goal to give the Friars their first win of the 2025 season. Redshirt freshman Ryan Carney (Dunstable, Mass.) earned the clean sheet in net, making one save.
