Photos of President Joe Biden’s trip to Massachusetts

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — President Joe Biden landed at T.F. Green International Airport Wednesday before making a speech in Somerset.
ABC 6 provided live coverage throughout the day in Biden’s trip to Massachusetts.
He departed a little bit after 12 p.m. with Massachusetts politicians on the plane with him. He would later arrive in Warwick around 1:30 p.m.
President Biden stepped off the plane in a blue suit with aviator sunglasses on. He was welcomed by Gov. Dan McKee and other local politicians.
Biden stayed back for a while after realizing he lost his tie.

Secret Service and other security waited at T.F. Green Airport for the arrival of the president. Politicians, news crews, and others were on the tarmac in anticipation.

Other local police departments provided extra security patrolling the surrounding areas.
Climate activists gathered near Brayton Point calling for the president to declare a climate emergency.
Politicians and officials waited to for the president to arrive at the power plant.
A stage was set up in preparation, with seats provided for those in attendance.

When Biden arrived at Somerset, he immediately gave a speech on climate change.
He spoke on the “present danger” climate change poses and his plans on attacking it.
On Biden’s way to Somerset, road closures caused traffic backup and major delays.
Most traffic happened on I-95.
