Police identify man killed in Providence hit-and-run

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department identified the victim of a hit-and-run incident from earlier this month.

Police said Friday that 38-year-old Zacory Richardson died after being hit by a car on North Main Street.

The crash happened at about 10 p.m. on Feb. 14 on North Main Street in front of the Charles Gate Apartments.

Police closed a section of the road for nearly an hour following the incident.

No further information regarding the crash was released.
