Rehoboth man sentenced to life in prison for killing father

REHOBOTH, Mass. (WLNE) — Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn, III said that a Rehoboth man was sentenced to serve life in prison after being convicted of killing his father in Seekonk in 2021.

24-year-old Joseph “JD” Housley, II, of Rehoboth, was convicted of first-degree murder in October.

Housley Jr. was found guilty of shooting and killing his father, Joseph Housley, inside an apartment on Forsythe Circle in Seekonk in July of 2021.

He will be eligible for parole based on a Supreme Judicial Court decision.
