Report: New Three-Team Deal Lands Porzingis With Celtics, Boston Trades Smart To Memphis

After the original deal reported hit a snag Wednesday night, a new three-team trade was reportedly completed between Boston, Washington & Memphis.

In the new deal, Kristaps Porzingis will reportedly still land with the Celtics, while the C’s are sending Marcus Smart to Memphis.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Wizards are getting Tyus Jones from the Grizzlies, along with Danilo Gallinari and Mike Muscala from the Celtics.

Boston is also reportedly receiving draft compensation. The C’s landing a 2023 & 2024 first round pick in the trade, sending their 2023 second round pick to Washington.
