Reports: Kornet Cashing In With Spurs, Celtics Agree To Two-Year Deal With Garza

Reports saying it’s a big man out & a big man in for the Celtics on the first night of NBA free agency.
ESPN’s Shams Charania reporting Monday night Luke Kornet is leaving Boston for a new four-year, $41 million contract with the San Antonio Spurs.

Shortly after news of Kornet’s departure broke Monday, Charania reporting the Celtics pivoting to a new center, agreeing to a two-year, $5.5 million deal with Luka Garza.

The former Iowa star Garza has played four seasons in the NBA, the last three in limited minutes with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
