Reports: Patriots Put Second Round Tender on JC Jackson

The Patriots have put a second round tender on restricted free agent cornerback JC Jackson, per reports.

This means New England has the right of first refusal if another team offers Jackson a contract. The Patriots can match any deal. If they choose not to, the team Jackson signs with must send New England a second round pick in the upcoming NFL draft.

Jackson led the team in interceptions last year and was second in the NFL with nine.
