PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island FC announced its full 2024 season schedule on Monday.

The team will have its first game on Saturday, March 16 at Beirne Stadium at Bryant University in Smithfield against New Mexico United.

“Our fans can finally start marking their calendar and making plans to see Rhode Island FC in action,” said Rhode Island FC president Brett Luy.

“Our team has been busy building a club for all Rhode Island and we’re putting all the pieces together to ensure that our club is competing for trophies from day one. Demand for season tickets remains strong and we encourage fans to act quickly to secure their seats for the home opener and the rest of the inaugural season,” Luy said.

Rhode Island FC will play 17 home games during the regular season.

Rhode Island is eagerly awaiting to see its first soccer team. The team unveiled its jerseys to excited fans earlier this month.

The team will play at Bryant University until construction of the Tidewater Landing stadium is completed.

The only way to guarantee a spot for the home opener on March 16 is to purchase a season ticket plan.
