PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Roger Williams Park Zoo asked for help searching for several macaws Wednesday evening.

A spokesperson for the zoo said the birds were out sightseeing, adding that, with the incoming weather, they wanted them home.

The zoo said two of the macaws were found thanks to a tip from a resident, but one remained missing late Wednesday night.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the missing macaw should contact Roger Williams Zoo at (401) 785-3510 and share the location where the bird was spotted.

Three macaws were also reported missing from the zoo almost exactly one year ago, one of which was found on a powerline in Cranston.
