Patriots name Brissett as starting quarterback
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — Patriots fans will have to wait to see what they have in first-round draft pick Drake Maye.
The New England Patriots have named veteran Jacoby Brissett as their starting quarterback to start the 2024 season.
Brissett, who began his career in New England, was signed during the offseason after spending seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Browns and Washington Commanders.
Rookie quarterback Drake Maye was selected in the 2024 NFL Draft at number three overall by the team.
