Sen. Tiara Mack’s TikTok restored after being banned

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island Sen. Tiara Mack’s TikTok has been restored after she was was banned Tuesday.
In a tweet, Mack shared a screenshot from TikTok, writing in part, “This is the message notifying me I was banned.”
The ban came after the senator posted a video on the app of her in a bikini, twerking while in a head stand.
In an exclusive interview with ABC 6 News, Mack said that most of the backlash is coming from opponents and conservatives.
“I was elected saying the ‘F-word’ as an unapologetically queer woman. This is the same person that was elected in 2020 who is going to lead with empathy, compassion, love, and silliness,” Mack told ABC 6.
