The Newport Mansions welcome guests for the holiday season

NEWPORT, R.I. (WLNE) — The Newport Mansions has started welcoming guests for the holiday season.

This year, four mansions are decorated with nearly 30 Christmas trees, dozens of garland, 27 fireplaces, and tens of thousands of lights.

Workers and volunteers prepared all year for the event, with Chateau-sur-Mer sparkling for the holiday season for first time in 25 years.
