NEW SHOREHAM, R.I. (WLNE) — A hearing is set for Monday to determine whether Ballard’s Beach Resort on Block Island should have their liquor license revoked or suspended.

The New Shoreham Town Council will hold the meeting at 5 p.m.

The scheduled hearing comes after a massive brawl on the island and the ferry during a reggae music festival. The brawls ultimately led to multiple arrests and a town meeting.

The popular bar has also been under scrutiny for rowdy crowds during the fourth of July.
