Two new cases of monkeypox confirmed in Massachusetts

BOSTON (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Health said on Sunday that they had confirmed two more cases of monkeypox.

The department said that two men who had close contact to one another both had positive test results come back on Saturday night.

Neither case can be traced back to the first case that was reported a few weeks ago.

These two cases of monkeypox bring the U.S. total to 49.
