URI Football Ranked No. 18 in the Country
After winning consecutive overtime, road games against Top 25 programs, Rhode Island cracked the STATS Perform FCS Top 25 poll, released Monday afternoon.
The Rams – who beat No. 18 UAlbany 17-10 in overtime Saturday – received 280 points in the poll, landing at No. 18. It is the first time in the poll for Rhode Island since 2018, when it was ranked No. 22 for the week of Oct. 15, 2018.
