URI home games coming to MeTV

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — ABC 6 will be partnering with the University of Rhode Island this fall to air Rams home football games live on MeTV.

The first game against Holy Cross will air on Saturday, Aug. 31st at 7 p.m.

The partnership will run through the next three seasons, and the Holy Cross game will be the first of five to air.

The other games will include the Governor’s Cup game against Brown on Oct. 12., the game against Maine on Oct. 26, the game against Monmouth on Nov. 2, and the game against Albany on Nov. 16.

The broadcasts will feature students from Harrington School of Communication and Media announcing.
