URI Wins Fourth Straight, Reaching 3-0 in Conference

Rhode Island made a season-high 14 3-point baskets and scored 21 points at the free throw line while defeating Massachusetts 89-77 Saturday.

Jaden House and David Green combined for 53 points as they led the Rams (9-7, 3-0 Atlantic 10) to their fourth consecutive victory.

In a high-intensity, whistle-filled game, URI led UMass (11-5, 2-2 Atlantic 10) from start to finish. There were no ties or lead changes.

Guard Jaden House had a game-high 29 points on 7-of-11 shooting, including 5-of-7 from the arc.
House also had six rebounds and three assists.
Forward David Green scored a career-high 24 points to go with five rebounds and one assist.
Guard Cam Estevez sunk 4-of-5 3-point attempts while scoring 16 points. He also provided four rebounds and an assist.
Forward Tyson Brown tallied six rebounds as well as an assist.
Despite UMass having an 18-9 edge in offensive rebounds, Rhode Island had a 12-11 advantage in second-chance points.
The Rams had 14 assists and just 10 turnovers.
