URI Women’s Basketball Announces Atlantic 10 Conference Schedule

KINGSTON, R.I. — The Atlantic 10 released the women’s basketball conference schedule, it was announced on Oct. 2. The schedule features nine games at the Ryan Center and a road trip to defending league champion Richmond for a rematch of the 2024 Atlantic 10 title game.

The Rams open conference play in Kingston against Saint Louis on Dec. 29. Rhody then hits the road for trips to St. Bonaventure (Jan 2.) and Davidson (Jan. 8) before welcoming George Mason to the Ryan Center on Jan. 12. Rhode Island is back on the road for a pair of trips to VCU on Jan. 15 and Duquesne Jan. 19.

Massachusetts comes to Kingston on Jan. 22 for the last time as Atlantic 10 opponents, and Loyola Chicago is making just its second visit to the Ryan Center on Jan. 26.

The Rams make the trip to Fordham on Jan. 29 before facing Richmond in a rematch of the Atlantic 10 Championship game on Feb. 2.

Rhode Island returns home to welcome Duquesne on Feb. 5 and Dayton on Feb. 8 before heading to George Mason for a Feb. 12 matchup at EagleBank Arena.

The Rams face La Salle (Feb. 16) and Saint Joseph’s (Feb. 19) at the Ryan Center before the final road trips of the regular season at Massachusetts (Feb. 23) and Saint Louis (Feb. 26).

On March 1, Rhody and George Washington will face off for the regular season finale in Kingston.
