Xavier Truss Returns to Rhode Island a National Champion
Bishop Hendricken alum Xavier Truss became the first Rhode Island native to win a national championship in football since the 1930s when his Georgia Bulldogs beat Alabama 33-18 earlier this month.
The West Warwick native played along the offensive line during his sophomore season with the Bulldogs.
Truss returned to Rhode Island after his historic season and spoke to the current Hawks football team this week.
