2 arrests made in connection to Federal Hill bank heist

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence Police confirmed Wednesday night that two people were arrested in connection to a bank heist that happened on Federal Hill.

According to police, Tracey Delgado and Stanley Palmer were taken into custody at the Hampton Inn on George Street in Pawtucket in connection to the $500,000 robbery at Santander Bank.

These arrests come shortly after police located $24,000 in connection to the heist at a storage facility in North Providence.

On June 29, police said a “sophisticated” and “planned” bank robbery happened at Santander Bank on Atwells Avenue.

Officials said the bank was broken into and the vault was “breached.”
