RIDOH reports 4,141 new COVID-19 cases, four additional deaths

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 4,141 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday.
Health officials said out of the 23,867 tests administered the state collected a 17.4% positivity rate.
Rhode Island reported four additional deaths, bringing the state’s total to 3,096.
There are currently 382 Rhode Islanders hospitalized for the virus. Data shows that 48 of these patients are in the ICU while 33 are on a ventilator.
906,530 Rhode Islanders have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The state reported 809,410 Rhode Islanders have been fully immunized.
The total amount of doses administered sits at 1,997,289.
