COVID-19 testing and vaccination sites weather updates

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Rhode Island Department of Health has shared an update on both testing and vaccination sites ahead of Friday’s expected snowfall.

The outdoor testing sites will be operating from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on January 7. This will affect the following locations:

  • Cumberland Stop & Shop
  • CCRI Warwick Parking Lot (new location)
  • McCoy Stadium
  • Pawtucket Stop & Shop
  • Woonsocket State-run Test Site

Anyone with morning appointments at those locations will be able to go at any point later in the day.

The Rhode Island Convention Center ticket booth will move indoors to the Dunkin Donuts Center for Friday.

The Wickford Train Station parking garage testing site and outdoor Pre K-12 Pine Street testing site in Pawtucket will operate from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Providence Public Library vaccination clinic will not be held tomorrow, those with appointments will be rescheduled at the Rhode Island Convention Center.
