RIDOH reports 306 new COVID-19 cases, 5 additional deaths

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 306 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday.
Health officials said out of the 3,434 tests administered the state collected a 8.9% positivity rate.
Rhode Island reported 5 additional deaths, bringing the state’s total to 3,363.
There are currently 286 Rhode Islanders hospitalized for the virus. Data shows that 39 of these patients are in the ICU while 25 are on a ventilator.
