2 suspects in Providence bank heist appear in court

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Two people arrested in connection to a bank heist that happened at Santander Bank on Atwells Avenue appeared in court for the first time Thursday.

According to court documents, Stanley Palmer, 43, and Tracey Delgado, 31, were arrested at the Hampton Inn on George Street in Pawtucket Wednesday night.

Both Palmer and Delgado face felony charges of breaking and entering, conspiracy and larceny greater than $10,000. Neither entered a plea during Thursday’s arraignment.

Both were held on $10,000 bail and ordered not to trespass near the bank and surrender their passports.

In early July, Providence police conducted a search warrant at the Public Storage on Mineral Spring Avenue in North Providence where they said they found $24,000 in connection to the heist.
