WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — West Warwick police on Friday released the name of the woman facing a DUI charge after a crash into a house last month.

Officers were called at about 7:30 p.m. on July 20 for a reported rollover crash that significantly damaged a multi-family home on Providence Street.

Witnesses told police that a car was speeding in the southbound lane when it crossed into the northbound lane and struck a curb, ultimately colliding into the house.

Police said Friday that 56-year-old Kimberly Bellavance of West Warwick was arrested on scene on suspicion of driving under the influence. Police did not release a booking photo.

Bellavance plead not guilty to the DUI charge at her arraignment last week.

Police said she also appeared at the Rhode Island Traffic tribunal, where she plead not guilty to refusal to take a chemical test.

Bellavance has a court appearance set for Wednesday, according to online court records.
