Halloween-themed treats creep into Providence doughnut shop

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Is there anything better than a Friday the 13th in October?

PVDonuts is feeling festive, bringing back “bloody” brioche with mixed berry jam filling pierced with an edible white chocolate knife.

The special doughnut is available starting at 8 a.m. Friday to Sunday and is available for preorder.

The shop is also offering half dozen packs of Halloween-themed treats.

The spooky 6-packs include a chocolate filled old fashioned mummy and a matcha glaze Frankenstein’s monster.

PVDonuts moved to its new location at 158 Wickenden St. over the summer.

The shop has since announced it’s looking for buyers to expand the brand after over 7 years in service.
