Woonsocket Health Center Becomes Location of New Coronavirus Testing Site

WOONSOCKET, R.I (WLNE) – To advance the goal of city-wide public safety, the state identified Thudermist Health Center in Woonsocket, as a COVID-19 testing site.

Thundermist was selected because of its longstanding commitment to providing medical care to the Blackstone Valley area.

The expanded clinic will have both drive-thru and walk-up accessibility.

The new site has the ability to conduct up to 170 tests per day, and residents do not need to be a patient of Thundermist Health Center.

Residents looking to get tested will have to make an appointment.

Bilingual personnel, materials, and signage will be available at the site and all test information will remain confidential.

Testing will be conducted at 450 Clinton Street.
