RIDOH reports 68 new COVID-19 cases, 1 death Thursday

PROVIDENCE, RI (WLNE) – The Rhode Island Department of Health added 68 new COVID-19 cases and one death to the state’s COVID-19 data Thursday.
That brings the state’s COVID-19 death toll to 988, according to state health data.
There were 3,492 COVID-19 tests recorded on Wednesday.
There has been 17,711 Rhode Islanders that have tested positive for COVID-19 and 292,662 COVID-19 tests have been recorded since March.
RIDOH’s data indicates that 64 people are in the hospital with COVID-19, 4 are in the ICU, and 3 require ventilators.
The average of COVID-19 hospitalizations over the past 3-days is now at 63.
