97 positive coronavirus cases and 1 new death, RIDOH reports

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 97 new positive COVID-19 cases and one new death on Thursday.

These new numbers bring a total of 20,240 positive cases and 1,019 total deaths.

There are currently 80 people hospitalized with COVID-19, with 10 in the ICU and 4 on ventilators.

RIDOH reports a 2.3% positive rate from the day prior.
