Over 250 RI businesses receive perfect scores from RIDOH for COVID-19 compliance

PROVIDENCE, RI (WLNE) – More than 250 businesses in sectors like retail, fitness, and hospitality received perfect scores on their COVID-19 compliance inspections.
The perfect scores were handed out by inspectors from the state’s COVID-19 Enforcement Task Force, according to Department of Health spokesman Joseph Wendelken.
The COVID-19 Enforcement Task Force is a joint effort between RIDOH and the Rhode Island Department of Business Regulation (DBR).
Wendelken says the inspections are intended to measure compliance with industry specific COVID-19 requirements and a full list of those inspections are online.
Ten businesses received compliance orders last week for failing to comply with a range of public health directives related to COVID-19, Wendelken noted.
Three of those businesses which are listed below were re-inspected on Tuesday and were found to now be in compliance, RIDOH says.
The following businesses are now in compliance after originally failing their COVID-19 inspections:
- Mahogany Shoals, New Shoreham
- Saver’s Mart, Providence
- Sandy Shore Motel, Westerly
- Milano’s Pizza, Providence
These compliance orders and all other COVID-19 related compliance orders are posted online on the website of DBR.
