RIDOH reports 936 new cases, 7 deaths.

40,000 cases passed

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – The Department of Health reported 936 new positive cases and 7 deaths related to coronavirus.

These new numbers bring the state’s total to 40,764 cases and 1,250 total deaths.

At this time, the state is seeing a 4.7% positive from the prior day.

232 people are currently hospitalized.

Governor Raimondo noted that the state is seeing a .6% increase in positive cases from last week.
