Bishop Hendricken High School temporarily switches to distance learning Monday after 5 positive COVID-19 cases

WARWICK, RI (WLNE) – Hendricken High School will switch to virtual learning for Monday after three students and two staff members tested positive for COVID-19 over the weekend.

The Catholic all-boys school learned of two students testing positive on Saturday, two staffers testing positive on Sunday, and learned of one more student testing positive for the virus Sunday night.

The school plans to return to normal operations on Tuesday if they can finish their contact tracing by the end of the day on Monday.

Bishop Hendricken will transition all classes to the Virtual Model for Monday, November 16th. This is done out an abundance of caution and in an effort to effectively trace and contact those impacted by recent cases. pic.twitter.com/4CrgybfYQA
