Department of Health reports 1,043 positive cases, 7 deaths

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – RIDOH reported an additional 1,043 positive cases and 7 deaths related to COVID-19 on Tuesday.

These new numbers bring the state’s total to 57,906 positive cases and 1,380 deaths.

The state saw a 9.5% positive from the prior day.

Rhode Island administered 10,960 tests the prior day, for a total of 1,561,914 tests.

410 people are currently hospitalized.
