Smithfield public schools begin distance learning

SMITHFIELD, R.I. (WLNE) – On Monday, the Smithfield School Committee decided to move the district to distance learning.

Vincent Gallagher Middle School will begin distance learning Thursday, December 10.

Although Monday is a ‘Flex Day’, Smithfield High School students will begin distance learning next week.

Elementary students will begin distance learning December 21.
